Wow! This really hit home for me, Stephanie! All of the Italcized text under "Some Stories" are recurring thoughts I've had for a long time. Rephrasing them into positives is hard work and sometimes I wonder if I'll be successful, but I keep trying. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing these stories. Sometimes I read a sentence over a couple of times to try understand it more fully. I liked what your therapist said -"You need to come face to face with whatever you’re afraid this all means about you.” And loved how you described your dramatic self. So many of these feelings are relatable, and you describe it well so someone can feel those things too - was thinking that one day you can put them all together for a book.
I'm sorry that happened to you. I love the part where you realise that it's ok to just sit with what is, feel it and wait for it to pass. That "dramatic Stephanie" is allowed to have a voice and also is not the only voice so needs to let others take a turn.
I saw a lot of stories about what you don't want, so what are the stories that say what you do want? What do you want to call in, now that some space has been cleared for new possibilities? Maybe give dramatic Stephanie free reign on the positives so she can polish the gold and make it shine 🥰
i'm so sorry Stephanie. Glad you are pulling yourself out.
